Sustainability and being environmentally friendly is at the heart of the Terraform Gardens ethos. We have chosen to invest in the very best lawn care and garden cordless equipment, which is why we are using Hayter / Toro and Husqvarna equipment to ensure our services we provide you are inline with our ecofriendly goals.

Hayter has been manufacturing and engineering the finest British made lawn mowers since 1946. Hayter's cordless battery lawnmowers are expertly developed to offer lasting durability and superior performance to deliver a new level of lawn cutting efficiency and an ecofriendly gardening option. With no engine exhaust emissions and reduced operational noise it enables us to carry out our services with minimal disturbance to you, your clients, tenants, guests and neighbours!

The remarkable advances in battery technology means that battery/cordless machinery is at least as good and in many cases better than their petrol power counter parts. Petrol mowers can emit as much pollution in an hour of operation as a small car driving 100 miles! Battery operated machines eliminate this entirely at the point of use. In noise sensitive areas, such as schools, care homes and estates, staff and residents are not disturbed by the operation so use is not restricted and work can be carried out at optimum time. Battery equipment is generally lighter and safer making it an ideal choice for steep gardens with steps or terraces.

It is important to Terraform Gardens that we use environmental friendly equipment. The Toro equipment we use is compatible with the Hayter batteries which, is why it was chosen. Husqvarna are a industry leading manufacturer of quality saws and hedge trimmers which we use for larger jobs. By choosing battery equipment, we not only deliver a cleaner, quieter service, but also supporting South Hams' journey towards a greener more sustainable future.
